St. Mary’s Parish Seymour Mission Statement
We, the people of St. Mary’s Parish Seymour, live as a Catholic faith community called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
St. Mary’s Parish Seymour is dedicated to serving parishioners in this rural community of North Central Victoria with the spirit of the Gospel and guided by the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to foster a spiritual environment by providing a caring and supportive home for sacramental worship, together with family faith formation. Care is taken particularly with the pastoral care of the sick and elderly, the bereaved and needy.We aim to fulfill this mission through the dedicated efforts of our entire parish family, united together by our faith and by providing the opportunity for Catholic Education through St. Mary’s College, thus enabling a spiritual renewal leading to the Kingdom of God.
